54 days until Kirstie and Taylor go to Florida. 24 more days until summer. There is only 4 more mondays until school is out and Kirstie and Taylor are very happy about that because they hate mondays. Kirstie is doing ok in drivers ed. Kirstie and Taylor are also selling Tonys Pizzas and bracelets for fundraisers to go to Florida. Taylor is very excited to go to Crystal Hot Springs on Wednesday during school. Gonzalo's life has been pretty boring but he has been very busy outside working on getting our lawn all perfect (with the help of Taylor and his dad.) Vickie's life has been the usual.

April 19. 2010

29 more days until school gets out. 349 more days until we leave for the carriebean. Looking so forward to that. So the first few days of drivers ed are ok...not really enjoying waking up earlier than i wss before, but it is all good i guess. also i heard some amazing news today while i was at school. i learned that i could end up going to florida this summer for hosa competitions. that could end up being a lot of fun. Taylor has a choir concert in a few weeks and she is not looking forward to having to wear a poodle skirt and bobby socks. At least she has her friends and family to support her...or make fun of her...which ever they feel like doing. my dad had fun on his fishing trip in idaho this past weekend.

April 13, 2010

33 more days until summer vacation...YAY! On thursday there is 350 days until we go to the carribean for our cruise. So we are sorry that we didnt write anything yesterday. We were very busy so taylor and i are going to update this. so today we had our dentist appointments and neither of us had ANY cavities and that was a lot of fun and amazing. On thursday April 15th Kirstie gets to start drivers ed. she is taking the morning class and is looking very forward to it. On saturday me and taylor went to go see the last song, which was a good movie, while my mom and dad went to go see bounty hunter with the people they are going to hawaii with in a few years. one thing that taylor and i are not looking forward to is the core testing at the end of the year. we both hate it so much. it is not even fun. Our puppy Moonlight went to the vet yesterday because she had a deep puncture wound on her back foot. We took her to the vet and they said to give her pain meds and antibiotics. She cost a fortune. On Sunday Kirstie went out driving on the freeway all the way to Murray. She is a very good driver.

We finally talked mom into it!!

We finally talked mom into starting a blog for our family. Although we arent big picture takers, we will try to update this blog once a week on Mondays to let everyone know what we are up to. Here is a little bit about the family to get us all started on blogging.
First off, our mom, Vickie, works at a job that she loves. She is working at Mill Creek Youth Center as a counselor. She spends her time working with troubled youth in secure care. Her job is to get them ready to go back into the world. When she is not busy at work she likes to work on crossword puzzles, play card games with Kirstie, and spend time with the family...or mostly my dad who spends his time upstairs.
Our dad works at Hill Air Force Base as a Sealer. He works on airplane instruments to make sure they are repaired. He is trying to get hired as a civilian on base. He loves anything outdoors, such as hunting, golfing, fishing, boating, and lots of yard work. He likes to cook, but he rarely cooks, even though most of the time his food is really good. He loves to take our dogs to the dog park just barely inside of our neighborhood. He also has a major soft spot for all different kinds of animals, except for cats. He loves to spend time with his girls and catch up on all of his beauty sleep. He is currently on a quest to gather information on his childhood and hopefully his dad. He also enjoys helping us with our homework, except for math.
Kirstie is in the tenth grade at Roy High. She enjoys going to school. She has her learners permit, so stay home when you can. Joking, she is actually a really good driver. She enjoys going to go driving on Sunday mornings because there is not as many crazy people out on the road. She enjoys spending time with "her" dog Carmel. As seen in the picture of her. She enjoys reading books and listening to music. She is looking forward to summertime and her birthday in the middle of August when she will turn 16. She enjoys watching Law and Order with her sister. When she gets out of school she wants to become a nurse. She wants to major in medicine and minor in Spanish.
Taylor is a 8th grader at Roy Junior High. She enjoys spending time with her friends and family. Her good friends are Tyleene, Amanda, Kasey, Lisa, and Karoline. She enjoys texting and her family says she lives with her phone. She enjoys going on drives or go bowling with her family. She is excited for her birthday because she has tickets to go see an 8:00 showing to Eclipse with her family and one friend. She enjoys spending time with her dogs, especially her puppy Moonlight. Taylor wants to become a vet when she gets older.
