We finally talked mom into it!!

We finally talked mom into starting a blog for our family. Although we arent big picture takers, we will try to update this blog once a week on Mondays to let everyone know what we are up to. Here is a little bit about the family to get us all started on blogging.
First off, our mom, Vickie, works at a job that she loves. She is working at Mill Creek Youth Center as a counselor. She spends her time working with troubled youth in secure care. Her job is to get them ready to go back into the world. When she is not busy at work she likes to work on crossword puzzles, play card games with Kirstie, and spend time with the family...or mostly my dad who spends his time upstairs.
Our dad works at Hill Air Force Base as a Sealer. He works on airplane instruments to make sure they are repaired. He is trying to get hired as a civilian on base. He loves anything outdoors, such as hunting, golfing, fishing, boating, and lots of yard work. He likes to cook, but he rarely cooks, even though most of the time his food is really good. He loves to take our dogs to the dog park just barely inside of our neighborhood. He also has a major soft spot for all different kinds of animals, except for cats. He loves to spend time with his girls and catch up on all of his beauty sleep. He is currently on a quest to gather information on his childhood and hopefully his dad. He also enjoys helping us with our homework, except for math.
Kirstie is in the tenth grade at Roy High. She enjoys going to school. She has her learners permit, so stay home when you can. Joking, she is actually a really good driver. She enjoys going to go driving on Sunday mornings because there is not as many crazy people out on the road. She enjoys spending time with "her" dog Carmel. As seen in the picture of her. She enjoys reading books and listening to music. She is looking forward to summertime and her birthday in the middle of August when she will turn 16. She enjoys watching Law and Order with her sister. When she gets out of school she wants to become a nurse. She wants to major in medicine and minor in Spanish.
Taylor is a 8th grader at Roy Junior High. She enjoys spending time with her friends and family. Her good friends are Tyleene, Amanda, Kasey, Lisa, and Karoline. She enjoys texting and her family says she lives with her phone. She enjoys going on drives or go bowling with her family. She is excited for her birthday because she has tickets to go see an 8:00 showing to Eclipse with her family and one friend. She enjoys spending time with her dogs, especially her puppy Moonlight. Taylor wants to become a vet when she gets older.
